Joana Lokaichuk stammt aus Salzgitter und spürte schon früh, dass Bewegung mehr für sie ist als nur ein Ausdruck – sie sollte ihr Leben prägen. Bereits in ihrer Kindheit stand sie sprichwörtlich auf den Händen und entwickelte daraus eine außergewöhnliche Leidenschaft, die sie nach ihrer Turnkarriere auf die unterschiedlichsten Bühnen der Welt führte.
Ob beim internationalen Zirkusfestival „Circuba“ 2022 in Kuba, im TV-Duell bei „Klein gegen Groß“ oder beim 45. Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain 2026 – Joanas Freude am Auftreten und ihre tiefe Leidenschaft für die Artistik sind für das Publikum in jedem Moment spürbar.
Ab 2016 begann sie ihre Ausbildung an der Artistenschule Berlin, die sie 2023 erfolgreich abschloss, und machte ihre Leidenschaft konsequent zum Beruf. Dort spezialisierte sie sich auf die Handstandequilibristik und entwickelte ihren ganz eigenen Stil. Ein zentrales Element ihres Acts ist ihr einzigartiger Handstandtisch mit integrierter Drehplatte, auf dem sie dynamische Bewegungen mit präzisen statischen Elementen verbindet und so eine außergewöhnliche Spannung zwischen Kontrolle und Fluss entstehen lässt.

Ihre Darbietung zeichnet sich durch eine besondere Mischung aus Leichtigkeit, Eleganz und scheinbarer Mühelosigkeit aus – ein Handstand-Act, der technische Höchstleistung mit künstlerischem Ausdruck vereint.
Joana arbeitete bereits gemeinsam mit dem Cirque du Soleil für ein Event, war 2025 mit dem Circus Monti auf Tournee und nahm 2026 am 45. Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain teil.

About me

Joana Lokaichuk comes from Salzgitter and felt from an early age that movement was more than just a form of expression for her – it would shape her life. From childhood on, she was quite literally moving on her hands, developing an extraordinary passion that, after her gymnastics career, led her to a wide variety of stages around the world.
Whether at the international circus festival “Circuba” 2022 in Cuba, in the TV duel on “Klein gegen Groß”, or at the 45th Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain 2026, Joana’s joy of performing and her deep passion for circus arts are tangible in every moment.
In 2016, she began her training at the Berlin Circus School, which she successfully completed in 2023, turning her passion into a profession. There, she specialized in hand-balancing and developed her own distinctive style. A central element of her act is her unique hand-balancing table with an integrated rotating platform, on which she combines dynamic movement with precise static elements, creating an exceptional tension between control and flow.
Her performance blends elegance, lightness, and apparent effortlessness with technical precision and artistic expression.

Joana has already worked for an event together with Cirque du Soleil, toured with Circus Monti in 2025, and took part in the 45th Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in 2026.
